The event was held at Chilliwack's Exhibition Stadium. This stadium is a new facility that provides covered seating for 2,500 people. The grounds provide ample walking areas, consession, kids play area, and a beautiful venue for this year's event. The stadium is also home to the Chilliwack Huskers, a Canadian Junior Football team.
This year's event marks the 30th anniversary of the Canadian German Shepherd Dog Championships and Sieger Show.
The event has been organized by a committee of volunteers from the Western Region.
